Gary Neville shoots down Woodward on Live TV [VIDEO]
On Monday Night Football.

We've covered this ground on the forum but it's going public now.

Well Done Neville.

Fergies scouts, Moyes scout, LVG's scout, Woodward's scouts.
Bankers from London overruling managers.
Best in Class DOF's needed, not Rio, Not Phelan and not Fletcher. Best in the business.

He's called the club toxic and shambles.

Go on Gary, over to our plastic fanbase to rally behind the cause.

Will the fans fight for the club?

Like you said yesterday, there must be some kind of reaction on Sunday. And I am not talking about a plane banner. That's for pussies and it's easily brushed aside. We need some kind of mass walk out after a certain minute or loud anti-Woodward chants. Or booing during the lap of honour. Something that Woodward, MUTV and the rest of his lackeys can't ignore or spin to their benefit. 6 years of this bullshit is enough. Fans in the stadium must act.

He’s right. But nothing will change until the revenue is threatened. My membership info came in the mail yesterday. I will actually spend the money to call and say cancelling until Woodward is not in charge of footballing operations rather than just doing it online. Saddened beyond words at the last seven years.

You have to praise Gary for making this public knowledge, he's given Woodward 7 chances to prove him wrong. He said when Jose got sacked. Bring in experts, step aside, focus on finances, let best in class directors handle the football and pick the right strategy for recruitment, continuity and overhaul.

Instead Woodward ignored the public advice, he withdraw the vacancies for DOF and advertised it internally to Murtogh. He shot down any chances of head-hunting Paul Mitchell by not reaching out to him in January and he was so negligent that it was too late to make summer plans, too late to appoint a DOF and finally we reached a point where Ole was the inevitable successor and he had to make summer plans without a competent director leading the way for overhaul and continuity.

We should have sealed Paul Mitchell at the earliest possible time by late Feb. We should have had a Director by March making plans and calling agents and clubs. Guys like Rio and Fletcher learning their trade as technical assistants to a professional. A footballing committee consisting of Paul Mitchell, Rio and Fletcher.

Phelan could have served as the buffer between inexperience and experience.

Woodward is a fantastic businessman in commercial and marketing aspects but you have to question his basic management capabilities. He doesn't seem like the sharpest tool, its only been 6 failed summer windows. You would think after LVG, the penny dropped. But it did not , we didn't approach Berta or Monchi, Mislintat or anyone.
