Mike Shorts Phelan to be our DoF?
They say it should be someone Ole is familar with. I think we're just interested in finding a stooge for Woodward, personally.

Would he come if he has no real authority? Doubt it.

Rumors are Phelan wants real, authority before accepting the job. If they refuse to hire a real DOF and instead someone for a publicity stunt with no real authority, Phelan should go public with that and embarrass Woodward.

What I've heard is the club wants Phelan and Darren Fletcher in advisory roles but no real authority. Just to please the fans.

However will not interview qualified professionals as no professional with pedigree will accept these poor terms.

Apparently RIO is under consideration for DOF?? What exactly has he done to recommend him for the job? Not saying he couldn't be good at it but he's never had any responsibility for player acquisition or long term strategic development.

He’s been working out a lot, so if Deadwood pisses him off by not listening to him maybe he will body slam that weasel piece of shit and end his united killing career.

Sorry just fantasizing our loud. The ex player he should get is Van der Saar, that Ajax team plays some seriously exciting football!

There's talk about a committee now. Involving Fletcher, Rio, Schmeichel and Vidic. It's the Liverpool model and it probably suits as better, PROVIDED Woodward actually heeds their suggestions.

Woodward is a grade A clown.

First, Murtough, not received well.
Then the Problematic Phelan who is old school, high maintenance and demands communication.
Then Fletcher, Then Rio.... who next? Wayne Rooney? Maybe we'll go full circle and go back to our savior Ed Woodward.

The club is complete joke apparently Woodward has already made up his mind this summer on New Arrivals and Departures and Juan Mata is staying.

A transfer plan was drafted before Ole's appointment so we botched the Sporting Director appointment already Biglaugh

Anyone fucker that comes in now is too late,Woodward is still playing football manager with our club and has fucked it up with contracts for Young,Jones, Mata and Smalling.

I think I'll wait until Ole gets sacked to give up on the club.

What a clusterfuck. Ever seen the movie "Burn After Reading" by the Coens? This is what Woodward and the Glazers remind me of. One idiocy after the other.

But the revenue keeps growing. So they have no incentive to leave until its in ruins.

Moyes said we haven't made any progress since he left and its hard to argue he is wrong with Jones, Smalling, and young still playing. Woodward is the devil with no chin...

Oh yes, Woodward is bringing in a lot of profits. But we're beginning to slow down even on the financial side.

City have overtaken us as the most valuable team in England. We are valued at 2.087 billion, having lost 376 million. Our drop is blamed on "higher wages and lower profit". Woodward's incompetence, slowly but surely, will begin to hamper us financially as well.

Woodward is a stupid cunt.
His strategy of "paying the highest wage bills = attracting the best players" does not work when your a trophy less, mediocre consistently 6th football club.

6th place is where we belong and behave.

Woodward will be telling stakeholders in the club to ignore these valuations as he's a grade A hype man like Jesse Lingard and can sell the club for £4.3bn at the will of the Glazers.

He's a grade A idiot.

Quote:the study by the University of Liverpool's Centre for Sports Business Group

Enough said... Forbes still has United as the highest valued global sports brand in the world. Also that "study" completely ignores the fact that the citizens have benefited from over £1billion in free gifts from the sheik along with the dodgy partnerships with his family businesses.

If it was biased study then maybe they would cook up the numbers in a way that didn't feature Liverpool below Tottenham? Not to mention that City are their rivals these days, not us. So it doesn't make much sense that they would try to knock us in order to prop them up.

Oh well, we'll see what Forbes' next study shows. We truly were the most valuable football club in their last list. That was last July though.

We do attract players! Ole even said so himself today. What he left out was that the agents who keep approaching our club are probably repreenting mediocre players like Rojo and Darmian or has beens like Alexis.

RE: Mike Shorts Phelan to be our DoF?
Mino Raiola fat cunt agent of Pogshite apparantly offered our DoF Woodward Mathias De Ligt under specific conditions.

- A record fee for a centre back.
-Pogba's sale at a cut price deal.
-And finally a juicy £20-30m agent fee for brokering the deal.
- A deal worth £90-100 million.

- A deal worth £90-100 million. Probably what it would cost though with the Pogba sale it would look like a straight swap on the books

RE: Mike Shorts Phelan to be our DoF?
Jc

the point is that fat cunt is offering us a mercenary. De Ligt has his eyes on a move to a top club like Barca or Juve. If he's being flogged to a mediocre small time club that means he's only here for the money like Pogba and Alexis.

No thanks. I'd rather have a decent bloke like Harry Maguire who will give 100% and not leave us after 3 years or have his career ruined at a mediocre club by the time he's 21.

Plus I read Raiola would put exit clauses in his players contracts so they can leave small clubs for big ambitious clubs.
