RE: [Premier League] Man Utd vs.City (24/04/19)
I'd like to see how our senior/bottlers respond.

DDG
Young Smalling Lindelof Shaw
Matic McTominay
Lingard Pogba Martial
Rashford

- Dalot and Fred are still very raw. We need to see Young & Matic prove if they are worth keeping.
- Lingard & Rashford keep escaping criticism, put them out there for Ole to see against the best how they fare.
- Big game for Martial & Pogba, big game bottlers.
- We still need a mobile forward threat, Lukaku is neither. He belongs with Mata and Alexis out the picture. Too negative and slow.

Bench: Romero. Dalot,Rojo, Fred,Perreira,Alexis, Lukaku

My worst nightmare is we somehow win tomorrow, bottle the rest of the season, don't make top 4 and Liverpool is gifted the title.

That would suck on multiple levels, JC. Which means it will probably happen...

I booked my tickets to watch Endgame in the afternoon and then rush back home to watch the game. I have no idea why.

RE: [Premier League] Man Utd vs.City (24/04/19)
If United don't beat City and Chelsea we are guaranteed to finish 6th with a maximum of 70-72 points.

Looking at the table, our rivals may only drop 3-5 points over the next 4 matchdays even if its an abysmal battle for top 4.

I can see the table finishing

3rd Spurs 79 points.
4th Arsenal 76 points
5th Chelsea 73 points
6th United 71-73 points

In no scenario did we finish 4th. I don't want Liverpool to win the league. Fuck this game

RE: [Premier League] Man Utd vs.City (24/04/19)
Ole made a massive tactical mistake already. 5 at the back and Young in the lineup without McTominay. I'll call it like I see it, a weak, pussy move. Swap Young for McT playing the same back 4 and we may have a chance. Also not benching the wayward De Gea smacks of not having the cojones to manage at this level.

Poor selection Big Grin

Fuck Liverpool. They screwed us in 2010 and we deserve this sweet revenge. Remember Gerrard's assist for Drogba. Carraghers awful defending all game.

Biglaugh Hope City don't slip up after tonight or its all for nothing

If Young plays up top as a true winger, I'll be pleasantly shocked. Doubtful but I guess anything is possible. Im almost hoping we win this one and let Pool win the league after listening to these wankers on NBCSports going on and on with their linguistic masturbation over the city players.

RE: [Premier League] Man Utd vs.City (24/04/19)
I hope we don't show up. This is neither the place or time to gift Liverpool their 1st Premier League.

We are not finishing 4th and we can revel in this small time attitude tonight.

The selection is not poor, but our recruitment is horrendous.

De Gea? Day dreaming
Young? Retired.
Darmian? Sunday league
Smalling? Relegation material
Lindelof ? Green
Shaw? Average
Fred? Unreliable
Pogba? Unreliable
Perreira? Average
Lingard? Hudderfield quality.
Rashford? Midtable quality.

The bench is not great either: A has been, a fat lump, a lazy git, a slug, Mr Cuddles and a green teenager and Romero.

Young for Martial or five at the back? Probably wont bother sneaking back to computer much to watch match today.

Carragher actually wore a United jersey as part of a bet to GNev. I hope if we lose that Liverpool capitulate and give up.

RE: [Premier League] Man Utd vs.City (24/04/19)
Roy Keane let loose on Pogba. Icon_eek

Psycho eyes, the man is deranged but spot on. He is seriously bonkers but correct. The whole studio went dead silent.

Called Pogba a liar, a pussy in other terms and a bad professional. Selfish and it shows on the pitch.

I wouldn't disagree. Pogba is talented and unique but he's luxury player. He's not someone you build your team around.

Pogba lacks character, leadership and work ethic for Manchester Utd. He shows for the ball only when it's easy and comfortable. He'll never dig deep and perform like Keane did in Turin.

I think it's a 5-3-2 but I wouldn't rule out a 4-2-2-2. It's Ole favourite formation while he was at the reserves.

I don't even know what to make of this lineup. Darmian playing his first game in 4 months up against City's player of the year. Meanwhile, McTom is nowhere to be seen again. Why?

Rumours the injury he picked up before the March internationals flared up but no confirmation.

Ole was spot on about Citys tactical fouling. Its criminal how they get off. Jimmy Savilles of the league.

Smalling needs to go, I don't care how much better he gets at defending, he can't handle the ball while under any pressure whatsoever. He absolutely kills our build up and puts our entire backline under pressure with his chicken shit back passes.
