RE: [Premier League] Manchester Utd vs Watford (30/03/19)
I love how Ole pulled a Fergie and had almost every international player get "injured" just so they would skip those pointless games. No doubt, that's an area where Mike Phelan's experience shows. Big Grin

Not sure what lineup I would play. We have another game on Tuesday and then another 8 day break. I think we have to rotate a bit just to give everyone game time and get them ready for the heavy schedule that begins for us on April 10.

One thing's for sure: Lukaku should start. He's been our main source for goals in recent weeks.

Jones and Smalling Icon_lol The next Vidic and Rio? The next Brown & Silvestre more like. Can't believe were given 4-5 years contracts.

Suprised to see Mata there, he's not exactly a player with a future. Lingard and Lukaku are probably not fit enough to play an hour. Would rather see Dalot than Mata but Mata can offer some cute, sharp decision making given the pace we have with Martial,Rashford & Pogba who will get beyond him. He's also a tidy finisher so there's that.

Watford nearly Scored. Warning shot fired.

Its going to be a long game.

Worrying performance. Young nearly gifted a goal and alot of players don't seem up for it.

LVGs taunt that we defend and counter is ringing in my ears. Sitting back and trying to absorb high press at home and no attack. What happened to the. ole offense that scoring for fun as start. Is this concious decision or have teams figured out pressing our back four nullifies any attack?

Don't deserve that all. What a pass by Shaw though.

Another assist for Shaw and tidy finish from Rashford. On the break, quick and easy!

Defend and counter attack. Good pass by Shaw though.

Foster not up to saving that one

The finish killed him. Didn't think Marcus had it in him yet.

Maybe crazy but until we start punishing teams at OT they are going to come in and play like they have a chance. Need to start burying our chances or bring on Lukaku later and score more goals. As it is they will continue to attack at OT.

Watching the 1st half on my phone while donating blood. Poor start, decent finish to the half. Shaw with a master class pass to Rashers who finished beautifully. Should have scored at least two more but couldn't muster the right finish. Keep the pressure on in the 2nd half and we'll put a couple more in.

Credit to Smalling and Jones. They have saved us from an embarrassment.
