RE: [Champions League Preview} PSG Vs. Manchester United (06/03/19) 2nd Leg
The travelling squad was just announced:

DDG, Romero, Grant; Dalot, Young, Shaw, Brandon Williams, Smalling, Bailly, Lindelof, Rojo; Fred, Andreas, McTominay, Garner; Rashford, Lukaku, Gomes, Chong, Greenwood.

Take Grant and Williams out and this will be our matchday squad. Confused

Nice to see Greenwood available. If the tie is settled, hopefully he will come on for his debut.

Finished work early and watched Daley blind and Ajax dominate Real Madrid at the Bernebeu. Tadic ripped them apart all game. So 2-0 isn’t insurmountable. If we play our style game and they think they can sit back and defend their lead, who knows what can happen. An early goal like Ajax grabbed can change the whole situation and mentality of the series. Not predicting a win, but saying still have some hope.

And we essentially have been written off and have nothing to lose. I say attack from the start and if we lose or get blown out who cares. At least try to bag a few goals even if it risks the counter

There is always hope. And from a talent standpoint, even the United team that will play tomorrow can do what Madrid did. The problem is the opposition. We won't be facing a team in decline and with serious locker room issues. We are facing a team that's flying right now and a team that can really hurt you on the counter.

Not saying it can't happen, but we have a tougher task than Ajax did tonight. An early goal will be impprtant obviously. If we score it, we can rattle them a bit and take it from there.

Ole does go with 5 at the back after all:

DDG - Young, Smalling, Linde, Bailly, Shaw - Andreas, McTom, Fred - Rashford, Lukaku

What really sucks is that there's no room for Dalot in this system. But hey, maybe he can be our supersub again...

Bench: Romero, Dalot, Rojo, Garner, Chong, Gomes, Greenwood

Dalot is the supersub.

Disappointed in Ole's decision given we will probably lose 4-1 Agg.

Take the leap of faith. Bench Young and play Dalot.

3-5-2 seems an odd way to try to claw back a 0-2 deficit but what do I know, hopefully they play well.

3 at the back helps in case they play with 3 up front. Truth be told, we can't do what Ajax did yesterday and grab the game by the balls. PSG are too good for that. We just have to soak up pressure and hit them on the counter. I think the game plan is keep it 0-0 until the 45-60 minute mark and take it to them after that.

Papii, Dalot would have been wasted in that position, I feel. He wouldn't have been allowed to attack a lot. If we played a 4-4-2 diamond, we could played him on the right with Andreas as the #10. But Ole prefers to have one more body in defence.

I'm so glad Ole is in charge of this game. 10 Injuries and Pogba suspended.
Moyes,LVG and The Special Cunt would have moaned endlessly and repulsively.

Only issue is Shaw and Young at their best are decent full backs. Shaw doesnt penetrate anymore or cross well. Young can't cross and average defensively. Neither are as good as Dalot. The standard is Gary Neville. To be as amazing as Irwin or Evra is legendary status. But between Shaw and Young, they're not even Gabriel Heinze standard.

Dalot is our only real wide outlet and he's on the bench. Dodgy

I just think Ole wanted an option off the bench. It's not as if we can expect alot anyways. I'd like to see Gomes or Chong or Greenwood come on but who's going to come off?

Best way to approach the game is to start recklessly and attack like mad dogs. Throw the sink early doors to get the first goal. Attack with reckless abandonment and if we concede .... who gives a fuck !

The first goal matters most, PSG might get PTSD if we score first and keep relentlessly pressing.

I don't care if we lose. But I'd like us to show some courage and give it 100.

A repeat of Real Madrid 2003. Just go for it. Nobody is to blame for this crisis.

Arsenal is the bigger game.

This is actually 4-4-2 with Young and Andreas on the wings. It's bold, but it leaves us with just McTom and Fred in midfield to win the ball and keep it.

We won't have the ball a lot like this

Yeah that was coming, I understand sitting deep and soaking up pressure but that was getting ridiculous. They have to pressure the ball at least.

My phone alerted me to the goal!! Even if we don't claw it back, this will scare the fuckers and no one can say we came in like a weak team. C'mon Ole!! work your magic!!

Keep a good update going as will be able to peak at the computer once in a while

Ole has told Young to do something dodgy. Bailly is blameless.

Ole fucked up tactically.
