4th! Jose with the 1st 26 pts in 17 matches, Ole with 25 pts in 9... Says it all really. I was watching on my phone at my daughter's swim meet this morning so couldn't comment or I'd lose the stream. Sorry to leave you guys all alone. 3-nil at a walk, should have been more and never really threatened outside of that miss hit chance in the 1st minute. Great rest up for PSG,have a great feeling on that one!

Babysat the nephews, so I missed the game too. Seems like a routine win though. I love the fact that we've come to expect to win these games with Ole in charge. I don't know if Ole will get the job, but his first 2 months on the job should not be underrated. We are talking about an almost perfect record. He has 25 points already. Jose had 26.

Watching the game now, so I don't have any tactical comments yet. Nice bit of rotating by Ole. Young, Lingard, Rashford and Lindelof will be very crucial for us on Tuesday, so it's good to know they will be fresh for that game. Pity we couldn't rotate anyone from the midfield 3.

What a beauty of a goal by Martial! Hope he brings his A game on Tuesday.

Had to run in to work. Finished watching the match. How great is it that now we expect to score goals and win against teams even away?

Next three games are the real test of how good this team is. Happy we are in topop four but for me winning FA Cup is most important. Silverware under Ole would be impressive.

Chelsea get spanked by City, United all alone in 4th. I'd guess Sorry is getting fired shortly. Unfortunately those fucking Spurs lucked into another win so we're still 9pts out of 3rd.

Yep. Just when they lost Kane and Ali, they gained a lucky streak. The gap is just too big to catch them up, sadly. So we have to deal with the other 2 for that fourth spot.

I hope Chelsea keep Sarri until next Monday. Don't want them getting a new manager bump before they face us. City are just too irresistable, sadly. Yoy don't build a team like theirs just with good signings, as the Cunt kept saying. Pains me to say, but hopefully Liverpool will beat them to the title. Because seeing them win the title will be easier to stomach than City matching or surpassing our 1999 achievement by winning the Treble or the Quadruple.

Well, we're going to win the FA Cup and Champions League so no worries about City doing a possible quadruple or treble!

Also I'm obviously rooting for Chelsea in the League Cup final, here's hoping I.M. Sorry keeps his job and rests players in the matches ahead of the League Cup final.. Wink

Never say u can’t catch someone nine ponts ahead. That was our lead in 2012 and suddenly w ended up tied last game of season and lost on goal differential. Not saying it’s gonna happen, but this league is so unpredictable who the hell knows!

Frankly I hope we don’t catch them bc they leapfrog city and pool. I don’t want either team to win. Pool getting one closer to our haul or City winning it two years in a row to give them momentum. Both bad.

Heh, of course. How could I count Ole's armada out. Icon_cool Here's hoping Pep wins 2 trophies max. Confused

Chelsea have a fixture list similar to the one we had 2 years ago. They have EL on Thursday, us on Monday, EL replay on Thursday and then the final on Sunday. Obviously they will probably rest some players against the Swedish team they're playing, but playing United and City in 6 days will be no fun ride. If they didn't sack Sarri now, something tells me they will by the end of February.

Το be fair mate, we were 8 points ahead. Not 9. Tongue Obviously nothing can be written off, but it's a healthy lead at a time when we have a busier run of games up ahead. And they still have Kane and Ali to return. I just think our best chance to catch them up was this month and they kept their nerve.

That said, I wouldn't count on them pushing City and Liverpool. They are Spurs after all...
