Lets not underestimate the role Calamity Jones will play in this game. Kane has raped him repeatedly and he is prone to own goals and playing against Man Utd. Given the chance if Smalling is 50% fit, he simply has to play. Smalling is reliable and dependable. At 50% he won't deliberately hand Spurs all 3 points.

I would like to see :

DDG
Young Lindelof Smalling Shaw
Herrera Matic
Lingard Pogba Martial
Rashford

RE: [Premier League] Spurs vs, Manchester Utd (13/01/19)
Smalling is not in the squad, given the latest round of speculation. This is very worrying. It's not just the fact that I rate Smalling higher than Jones anyway. It's the fact that Smalling has been known to deal with Kane very well. And we can't even play anyone else. It's just Jones and Lindelof.

Oh well. We were never going to win this game by defending anyway, lol. My prefered lineup, and the likeliest one, is the one Papii posted, with Jones replacing Smalling.

It's long overdue we win at their ground. Last time we did, it was in 2012 with those 2 Young wondergoals! Since then we had the draw under the blistering cold in 12-13 (when they equalized after De Gea's gaffe at the death), the 2-2 draw under Moyes which is only remembered for Vidic's crunching tackle, the 0-0 draw with LvG when we should have scored in the first half, the 3-0 thrashing in 15-16, the 2-1 loss in an indifferent match in 16-17 and the easy loss at Wembley last year.

I'll go with a 3-0 win which would have us dead level on points, GD and goals scored/against with Arsenal after their flop at the Hammers today.

i had tickets to this game, but I had to give them away as its a Sunday and I have some work to start straight after the game so its inconvenient.

We will have to score at least 2-3 goals because Jones will make at least one error to gift a goal. I think Spurs will score 2 for sure with our defence. Set Piece and Jones.

Son,Kane,Alli,Eriksen will have a field day if Young,Jones, Matic don't improve signficantly in their defensive duties. Young just doesn't display awareness of the offside trap, Jones is a lost cause and Matic doesn't seem to be able to protect the back 4 the way Keane/Carrick did.

We need our shooting boots on. Martial and Pogba have to step up and produce in the big games against better quality. Lingard needs to do more than "movement". Shaw aswell needs to contribute to getting forward and providing width rather than being a Tony V clone.

We play basic football and they play coached football at a more advanced level.

Its shows while Poch was working hard. Mourinho was doing very little in coaching.

Warning shot fired... Offside goal by Kane.

Spurs are physically faster, stronger and more intelligent.

I'll take a draw.

Some of our counter attacking has been decent and I like how at times we steal the ball high up the pitch. But they still look like a bigger threat than we do.

Also I don't know who's tracking Trippier in our 4-3-3, but he's failing miserably.

RE: [Premier League] Spurs vs, Manchester Utd (13/01/19)
Wasn't too fussed about Lingard playing in the center and Marcus on the right, because it was evident Solskjaer wanted to use Lingard's pressing. And what's what begins our goal. Taking nothing away from Pogba's pass and Marcus' finish.

Big test for Ole now. Has to see off a game against a good side that will throw everything at us.
