RE: Is anyone still watching Man Utd?
Just saw the highlights. That was a great goal by Jones, he looked like a striker there. Rashford buried his chance well. Didn’t expect any different result and don’t expect any big reaction against Liverpool either.

RE: Is anyone still watching Man Utd?
We basically went through because of that late OG at Juventus or because Valencia failed to beat Young Boys. Mourinho can brag about his record all he wants, but this team was very lucky to go through.

As for the next round, I wouldn't write us off just yet. We could get drawn against Porto, Madrid who are evidently struggling or Bayern who are an old side. We could luck out and find ourselves in the quarters.

To move away from Mourinho for a bit, whenever he goes, Pogba should go as well. This club has put up with his diva antics for far too long. I don't know how many of these players deliberately play bad right now, but he's one of them. I don't care if he's trying to get the cunt sacked, he's still disrespecting the shirt he's wearing. He deserves no reward for that.

I just have say, kudos!! Getting Scott to reply to your post on ROM made me laugh my ass off! Even there everyone is resigned to replacing Jose. Excellent work!

Heh, thanks! That's what he gets for talking crap. Icon_lol That article was an embarrassment, mate. For whatever reason, Scott has turned into one of Jose's cultists and his arguements are as idiotic as Yusuf's are.

But he gets hits and that's all that matters to him. Quality of the blog be damned. Of course he won't get many hits or retorts from me. I just drop my truth bombs and leave. Icon_cool

RE: Is anyone still watching Man Utd?
Costas -
I dislike Pogba but he's worth a "2nd chance" under a progressive coach. Every footballer worth a penny deserves a fair chance under a decent manager.

I doubt Pogba because he can't perform for us unless he has Kante, Matuidi, Mbappe and Grieszmann and a coach who loves him like like Dechamps who he respects and fears and admires. At Juve he had Pirlo, Vidal, a solid experienced defense and a top manager. At United he's got Jones and Smalling, Matic and Fellaini and a cunt of a manager that doesn't want him to succeed as he doesnt appreciate the brand of backwards football.

If we were to dump Pogba, I want him to fail because his own failures as a professional under a manager and team operating with integrity and effort.

So bring in Poch, Allegri, Zidane, Eddie Howe or anyone positive. Invest in new defenders and replace Mourinho's 6 lieutenants of mediocrity and let Pogba fall on his own sword. Pogba will leave for a top side... Juve, Barca, Real... We won't be better off without him.

The quality is there. But he has excuses at present. Remove the excuses like Jose's mismanagement and we can see him finally without partially defending his failure to mature and adapt.

Southampton beats an undefeated Arsenal giving Manchester United hope that even the most unlikely upsets are possible today...

11 points off 4th place if we lose today. Eventually when we are 20 points off 4th, Jose will get fired.

The season will effectively be over by early March. Yikes. Even Moyes held out longer!

RE: Is anyone still watching Man Utd?
I think youre too harsh on Pogba mate. before Jose, he had worked with 4 previous managers and none of them had any problem with him, meanwhile Jose has history of picking up unnecessary fights at every clubs he's managed. So Pogba deserves the benefit of doubt, beside to replace player like Pogba would cost atleast 150 mil pounds in todays market, thats basically a big no no from the club's perspective.

Is anyone still watching Man Utd?
Haven’t ranted for ages ....here goes...
....Why was Pogba originally sold by SAF?... because SAF could see he was turning into a bigheaded under achieving knob head with delusions of fucking grandeur... since that bastard has been back at my beloved OT he has only played well in a couple of games...
Imho neither Maureen or Poohba should have been let into our club... Clint is right when he says that Maureen plays the wrong kind of football for our team...
Lets hope Ole can get something out of this shameful shambles of a team... maybe slash wages and put in place better win bonuses...? Because the money this shower of shite team is earning for the lacklustre performances is beyond belief ... they should be fucking ashamed of themselves

RE: Is anyone still watching Man Utd?
Here's the thing about Pogba, lads. I won't knock him as a player. Nor will I sit here and say "I can never envision him not being consistent". If his mind is in the right place, he can do it. But is his ability really worth all the hustle? We might be happy that Mourinho is gone, but lets not lose sight of the fact that Pogba played a huge part in this. Do we really need a player who can potentially ruin any manager's job in our ranks? Ok, Mourinho had it coming, but what about a future manager who only has issues with Pogba? As long as he has that lowlife piece of trash as his agent, he will always think he's bigger than the club he's playing at.

For me, he's better off at Madrid. With the rest of the big egos.

RE: Is anyone still watching Man Utd?
If Pogba fails the next manager believe me, he will be gone ASAP. He'll be at Real or Juve. I think Manchester United will side with the next manager over Pogba. Even Martial or Shaw are not safe if they lose the trust of the next manager.

Eventually the manager will be bigger than the players at this club because this group of players have already earnt a bad rep for their lack of individual quality under a has been world class manager.

The players have to step up or it will be mass overhaul. Pogba, Lukaku, Martial,Fred, Andreas, Bailly,Lindelof cannot afford to let down the manager otherwise they will be exposed as average footballers and moved on. Maybe even to small clubs who will overpay.

RE: Is anyone still watching Man Utd?
Yeah sell Pogba to Juve or Real lets see him winning trophies there while we stuck with the likes of Fellaini or Lingard. Just like i said, he's our steven gerrard not scholes or modric, he needs to be given more spesific job in the midfield which is mainly to create chances and goals.
